How much fun was that? Screamin’ Jay for me please, funny that they were drunk I had wondered about that a time or two. You manage to come up with something fun, educating and entertaining every week. Thank you Matt

Matt, I picked Nina mostly because I never did like Screamin Jay’s version. Oh well.

Can hardly wait for next weeks show. Love the Death By Teenage segment. I’d buy it if you put it up for sale.

Wow, I didn’t think the choice was going to be difficult tonight, but it was. Nina’s version is so utterly different that it deserves recognition. Yet, I have to give it Screamin’ Jay. Stewed or not, he was able to summon up a “rubber room rendition” that will stand for the ages.
    Groovy show as per usual.

The screamer got my vote too, and I have no doubt that he was totally fried; he sounds like it, and probably really felt that he was putting a spell. Creedence Clearwater Revival did the song on their first album and managed a really good cover too. Think I’d have voted for that one if it had been a choice.

Gotta’ be Screamin Jay. Nina’s version is good but Jay is the main man.

Sierra is right The Creedence version is really, really good.

I agree with Sierra, had Screamin’ Jay been up against CCR, Credence would have gotten my vote too.

I gotta go with Screamin’ Jay. The story about them drinking before recording it really gave me new appreciation for a “song?” that I’ve been listening to for over 50 years.

    Yo Furry leader
That was a great part 2, to the Halloween podcasts. You really dug up some creepy tunes. Sure looking forward to the, Death By Teenage, next week. I always enjoyed when you did that special, back in the day.
It was one of my favorites. That and Christmas.
As far as the cat fight goes, I had to go with screamin Jay. Although it was supposed to be a ballad, that just doesn’t fit the song. Nina’s version almost put me to sleep, and I couldn’t stand the bit of scat she put in in.
If CCR had been in the running, it’d have been a closer call, but I’d still have gone with Screamin Jay.
Keep them cat fights comin. I sure look forward to them every week. You’re the best. KEEP ON PROWLIN!!!
