I have to go with Ruby on this one. The music is so similar, so the Girl Power thing for me is strong.
Ditto….. Cross Country Kelly.
My Summer Love for me happened in 1963 in a swimming pool in upstate New York called Anthony Wayne Park !! I remember hearing Denise by Randy and the Rainbows on the outdoor sound system and that girl in the pool was a cutie and boy was that a good day !! P.S To get back to the Cat Fight i voted for Ruby Adam Wade Ray Charles and the Romantics !! Because you know im a romantic fool ! Yum Yum
Ruby & The Romantics….
1963…was a good year for teachers…they finally got rid of me….graduated and left Pittsburgh for places of mystery and adventure…..the military.
Thanks Matt…you keep rockin’
Jerry B. in Tennessee
I wanted to go back and listen to them again, but staying in the spirit of the original FNCF I decided I had to choose… and I chose Ruby. What memories that song brought back! Great choice, Matt.
I voted for Ruby also even if it was my MIL’s name. Eclectic certainly said it. Very enjoyable.
